Fresh of the success of The Third Annual “The Best Love is Free”, Culture Cry Wolf has released its newest music video in honor of Valentines Day.
CCW has been gaining momentum in the local music community in the past couple years and it has been well-justified. Combining the vocals/guitar of Mike Daly and the rhymes of Adam “Botzy” Botsford, they have quickly gained a fan base branching from multiple genres. They have been a model of success for new, young artists in the Twin Cities for a couple years now. And it doesn’t appear that their momentum will falter any time soon.
The “Romeo” music video, directed by Adam Dunn, is the third video to be released from their latest album, “Día de los Muertos”. The video takes you back to the days of Elementary School romance, complete with the usual childhood jealousy and sword fights. Adam Dunn walks you through the life of a couple young kids struggling with the troubles of being 10 and in love.
Hopefully you have someone by your side to watch this with tonight. If you do… grab a bottle of wine, light some candles, and enjoy the show. If you don’t… take off your pants, rip open those chocolates your mom got you, and try not to cry.
