Coral Thief The Originalites Skin Your Teeth Live Painting by Rico ... https://www.facebook.com/artbyrico Just Yoni https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yoni/285393717088 http://endofaneramusic.com/ Yoni is a rapper, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who embraces varying styles of hip hop and soul with hints of blues and reggae. Yoni and his partner Andrew "Ronin" Lucas seamlessly fuse live instruments and production to create a unique sound that is greater than the sum of its parts. Yoni is also very connected to the Jewish art community around the country, in fact the New York Times called him "...a politically conscious, culturally Jewish rapper..." and the Washington Post said seeing him live was like "...8 Mile meets Fiddler on the Roof..." Yoni was the featured MC on the track "Beatbox" from Matisyahu's gold-selling debut album "Live at Stubb's." He has also toured extensively with Matisyahu, 311, Sage Francis, Doomtree, and more. Some of Yoni's special performances include South By Southwest, Austin City Limits, Wakarusa Festival, and 10,000 Lakes Festival. He recently was flown to Paris and Amsterdam for special events. Coral Thief https://www.facebook.com/coralthiefband Coming out of Denver Colorado and composed of Rocky Mountain music veterans, Coral Thief is an original 5 piece, Denver based Reggae/Rock band. Driving rhythms and melodious guitar lines combined with smooth vocals and flows give Coral Thief a unique sonic style. Their live show is upbeat, fun and energy filled and they are always looking to please a crowd and leave them wanting more. Coral Thief has shared the stage with several national acts such as: Collie Buddz and New Kingston, The Supervillans, Mike Pinto, Fortunate Youth, Seedless, Jon Wayne and the Pain, Fayuca, and Mystic Roots. The Originalites https://www.facebook.com/TheOriginalites http://www.theoriginalites.com From the legendary 17th St. Studios record label in Costa Mesa, CA., know for recording bands such as Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, the Dirty Heads, Kat from American Idol and many many more bring you the Originalites. They formed near the end of the school year in 2008. Peter Fontes and Daniel Tello had some guitar and drums songs that they had worked on before and only needed a bassist. So, it was after a lame day of Saturday school, Peter and Tim Frankeny were talking about music and all that. Tim, being a bassist and Peter a drummer, they got together and played some covers while waiting for Daniel. Then Daniel showed up after surfing and they played long into the evening. Playing Sublime, Jimi Hendrix and also playing two originals Porque, and The Funk Song yet to be released. They got themselves ready and played a few shows during winter DiPiazza's, Evocal, FVHS etc. and then got a gig at African Corner in Fountain Valley, in support of The Moses Fund Charity. It was there that they met Mike Michael Shmelk as we called him Belk, a young but older talented saxophonist. Without ever meeting, EVER, the song MUSICAL FUSION was played and it was instantaneously musical fusion. |
