KnuckleBROTHER T - Todd Ek, co- founder of the Bros began his journey in South Minneapolis at the impressionable age of 11. An older dude from the Neighborhood introduced him to the rock monsters KISS. The kind of KISS that rocked the ass off of an 11 year old with an impressionable mind Day Forward he wanted to become a rock star. After months of relentless peddling and begging, his father finally bought him his 1st guitar. Searching for himself as a musician Todd by chance walked into a guitar store and got invited to a guitar amp clinic. The guest performer was Scott Holt. Todd was blown away. The performance was what Todd now likes to call "heavy metal for adults". Other influences include SRV, Jimmy page, Buddy Guy and Hendrix. Todds wicked and ballsy guitar style is something to be seen and herd.
KnuckleBROTHER Slim - Brian Bones Olson, grew up in Two Harbors, MN wearing out the grooves in his then new KISS LPs. Brian became a disciple of the Axe at age 12 after realizing that guitar was a 1st class ticket to picking up chicks. Amazed at the generosity of his parents for buying him a new guitar the south paw set out learning to play a right handed guitar as he still does to this day. He soon learned his outstanding knack for learning and remembering guitar riffs, He knows them all, just ask him. Brian then spent many years playing in Christian rock and rock bands until he was coaxed to the dark side. He is heavily influenced by Ace Frehley, Angus Young, and all the other riff gods of the 70s and 80s. His vibe and precision flourish within the textures of the Mooseknuckle sound.
KnuckleBROTHER Thunder, Terry Goodman Good. While growing up in the thriving metropolis of Norwood/Young America, MN, Terry found religion and his deity was the God of thunder Terry began to lay his foundation with local prog rock sensation Argyle. Then after serving a very short crack at obtaining a real education at prestigious Mankato State, Terry was wooed back on to the long and winding road by up and coming rocker, Rose. Terrys thunderous virtuosity was obtained during a long and loud stint with the band Shameless and most recently, the cover maiden Slippery Condition. Terry does the heavy lifting for the Moose Rhythm section and always lays down a heavy performance along with his prophetically jovial grin.
KnucklBROTHER Thump, Co Founder of the Mooseknuckle Brothers, Al Thumper Therres hales from St Louis Park, MN where he grew up running his neighborhood the same way he destroys his drum sticks, with a heavy hand. Al holds down the Bros rhythm section with the propulsive assuredness of a locomotive making its way down Highway 10. Als influences include Tommy Aldridge, John Bonham, Bill Ward and Ginger Baker. Als heavy handed percussive style makes you remember that the Mooseknuckle Bros are more than then a pot of bluesy, vibey soul but they can really kick some serious ass too.
